Instructors
I have been working in the IT industry since 1990 and have worked in multiple countries. In IT, you are learning new skills every day. IT is shaping and future of this world and it is a privilege to be part of this transformation. I have a master’s in computer science and ITIL Certification.
I like to gain knowledge from reading, TV, and social media. I also like to play cricket. Knowledge is useless if it is not transferred to others, and that’s what drives me to teach.
I have been teaching at Herzing College since 1989, mainly microcomputer and networking courses, and also cybersecurity courses in recent years. In addition to teaching, I have also been involved in department coordination and internship follow-up duties.
The computer networking and cybersecurity industries are a field of constant change where one has to continuously learn new skills to stay up to date with technology. It has been a rewarding experience for me to work with students who are eager to learn new skills, help them overcome their weaknesses, support them, and motivate them in their journey toward a successful career in IT.
As for my education, I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering. My career has been mainly focused on teaching, plus academic and IT consulting from time to time. As for hobbies, soccer is my favorite sport, I also enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, and have a particular interest in nutrition and fitness.
