Instructors
I have a University degree in Economics followed by a degree in Business Administration (Marketing and Sales). Currently, I am teaching Marketing and Sales courses at Herzing College. Talking a little bit about my previous experience, I started my professional career by joining the United Nations as a volunteer, grew with them, and after that became part of their supervising team working in aiding refugees with traumas and financial issues and also lecturing them about personal hygiene. I worked with them in 2 projects for 1.5 years which gave me experience in assisting, teaching and leading. After that, I planned to continue my education and obtained my Business Administration degree in Marketing and Sales. During my education, I worked in Sales for 8 months gaining experience in negotiating and dealing with customers. Also, I worked in Ontario Elections 2018.
I enjoy teaching because it allows me to share my understanding and knowledge with others. It is not just teaching, it is more of making a difference in students’ lives. To be able to inspire, support and guide others is very rewarding!
In my free time, I enjoy doing some sports like going to the gym, hiking, diving, horse riding and playing soccer. Also, I like traveling which allows me to discover new cities and cultures. Not to forget my pleasure in rescuing and taking care of homeless animals (I was part of Animal welfare charity).
With a rich and diverse professional background, my experience extends over two decades in real estate and a wonderful 42 years teaching, particularly in CEGEP and college. This journey in education continued for the last 23 years at Herzing College, where my expertise evolved from teaching computer support to business administration. In 2005, I had the privilege to be the first to teach the Business Administration program at Herzing College.
Outside the classroom, my entrepreneurial personality shines through in my consulting business. This venture focuses on assisting new companies with their network, internet, and overall business needs. My experience in both the real estate and educational sectors, coupled with my business expertise, helped me to be a useful asset to the organization.
My passion for teaching allows me to be part of the development of future professionals and stay in touch with changing industry trends, making education not just a profession, but a journey of learning and acquisition of wisdom.
Christina has over 14 years of teaching experience. Prior to teaching at Herzing College, she had the privilege of teaching intensive accounting courses to students of universities across Canada including Queens University, the University of British Columbia and Dalhousie. She holds a baccalaureate of Commerce from Concordia University, majoring in Accountancy. One of the many things she enjoys about teaching is the feeling that she is giving back, sharing valuable insight with the business minds of the future.
Holding a degree in International Relations and Affairs, my aim has always been the integration and mutual exchange through the multiplication of knowledge, wisdom, culture, understanding, respect and sense of community. I am fortunate to realize that the education sector is the one I identify myself with the most and where I feel I can contribute by offering opportunities for people from all over the world to learn, to prosper, and to work with others, creating lifelong benefits for individuals and enriching the society.
Besides academia, I have worked and consulted for various firms in the industrial and automotive sectors, which has contributed to the improvement of my knowledge in the business area and allowed me to acquire enough experience for future professional endeavors, such as owning and running a consulting agency focused on international students in Australia. My experience in the education industry allowed me to focus on fostering, supporting and articulating the inter-institutional relations, aiming the integration and mutual exchange through the development of projects, programs and international joined actions.
